Event Photography in a Pinch

One hallmark of our service, which we’ve worked hard at developing over the years, is that we’re able to provide an event photographer on a moment’s notice.  With the exception of a few rare occasions, we always have a photographer ready to cover an event with only a few hours notice.

Two recent occasions challenged us on this.  We received a call from a gentleman who was going to be walking the red carpet for the premier of the “Wall Street” sequel – that same night.  He’s a big investor with a small part in the movie, and he wanted an event photographer to take shots of himself on the red carpet with all the movie’s VIPs and at the premier after-parties.

Not only did we have to find the photographer for the event, which was taking place in a few hours, we also had to ensure the photographer could get himself on the red carpet – or at least give it a good try.  Lucky for our new client, we have just the right guy on our team, a photographer who’s experienced at covering this type of event and working with a crowded field of competing shooters.

Our event photographer was able to get on the red carpet – a major achievement in the world of celebrity photography – and capture exactly the images our client wanted.  He was photographed with all the major players – including the director, Oliver Stone, and the stars, Michael Douglas and Shia Labeouf.   We also were able to deliver the images the next day, so he could use them right away.

More recently, our fabulous contact at the Four Seasons Hotel sales office, Susan Lee-Bishop, called us because her corporate client had requested an event photographer at the last minute.  She called us at 10am, needing a photographer there by noon.  We were able to provide a photographer who had previously covered the same type of event in the past, in the very same meeting room at the hotel.  This directly-relatable experience helps ensure we deliver the highest quality images.

Just about any photographer can provide decent images after an event.  What distinguishes our service is that we’re able to find the right photographer, tailored to the specifics of the event, and do it within only a few hours, if necessary.  On top of that, we can deliver the images within hours – even on site, immediately after an event.  Top-notch photographers with post-event service to match: that’s the cornerstone of our company.
