The fun of a photo booth never grows old.  Everyone crams into the little space and the camera snaps away, catching all your friends’ faces at their goofiest…it’s a blast!  But it’s also cumbersome and a bit old-school.

Until now!  5th Avenue Digital has re-created that carefree photo booth experience with a modern, more streamlined operation and presentation.  We’ve deconstructed the booth, taking away the walls so people can move around in front of the camera.  It’s like a photo booth set free!   And because people feel more comfortable and relaxed, they get better photos.

Plus: instead of the old strip of photos – and only the strip – you have options.  We can program the booth to deliver a series of images – two, three or even six separate photos; it’s your choice – on one 4×6” or 5×7” print, in black and white or in full color.  We also can brand the photo with a name for a B’nai Mitzvah or wedding, or with a logo for a corporate event.

The 5AD Photo Booth is even lovely to look at – not an ugly black box.  It’s a beautifully varnished birch wood chest with a plexiglass top, roughly the height and width of an average adult, but slightly deeper.  All the elements (camera, printer, paper) are self-contained in the booth, giving a clean silhouette.  Unlike traditional photo booths, ours is free standing with no cramped seating to squeeze into.  You just stand in front of it, press the foot pedal, and voila!  Out come your photos.

Like the old-fashioned photos booths, the pictures eject from a slot on the side, but faster – within 10 to 15 seconds.  The booth can print 550 4×6’s or 330 5×7’s before needing a change of paper, so it can run for hours unattended.  We can provide any number of backdrops, or you can create your own, or allow the party itself to become the background.  You can also add props for the photos – especially fun for themed parties.

Another advantage over the old-fashioned booths is your options for displaying the photos.  Images captured in the booth can be transmitted to flat screen LCD’s or projectors within seconds, allowing the whole party to see the action while encouraging them to join in.  Each of the printed images is also saved digitally so they can be posted in a web gallery after the event for viewing, downloading, and ordering additional prints.

The size and weight of old-school photo booths mean they often require delivery by a team of people, and once delivered the booth may not be able to travel up stairways and around tight corners.  The compact size of our booth allows for delivery and setup by just one technician, leaving a footprint of less than 2 x2 feet.
