I have to agree with the mirror…previously I would have never thought to bring a high quality mirror on my photoshoots but have received many requests (and some reprimands for not having). Also it is important to have someone with some retouching skills as todays cameras show every little detail and can be brutal.

I’d like to add something that was omitted – the importance of hiring a professional makeup artist for the shoot. Even if you’re a male – making sure each hair is in place and that there’s no shine to the skin will make all the difference in the world in making your photos so much better!
